Course Overview

This introductory course provides delegates with the skills to deliver internal skill development programmes and covers:

  • Preparation of a training session
  • Objective setting
  • Content development and resources
  • Questioning skills and managing audience
  • Evaluation
  • Action planning

All delegates will be asked to prepare a micro training session to receive feedback from the facilitator and will have an opportunity to further develop their session as part of the course.

Audience

The course is suitable for delegates who have roles where they need to deliver training in the workplace, have a responsibility for the transfer of skills and knowledge. The course will walk them through key learning and development methodology to ensure learner needs can be met and outcomes achieved.

Can I apply for this course?

The entry requirement for this apprenticeship will be decided by each employer, but may typically be five GCSEs at Grade C or higher. Some of the requirements may be:

  • Typically have five GCSEs at Grade C or higher.
  • Have been a resident in the UK/ Level 5 EEA/EU for the last 3 years.
  • Have Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Be able to meet the programme modules through their job role.
